Pointing Your Domain With Dreamhost
Add a “@” record where it says “Add a custom DNS record to [your domain]” in your Domains > Manage Domains area; point it to 184.108.40.206 and save; log into your site, then click “More” and select “URL / Custom Tracking Code“; enter the domain in the Top Level Domain field, select “Redirect Subdomain to Top Level Domain” and save.
You can easily connect your own domain to your site, and here are the steps for how to do this if you’ve registered your domain through Dreamhost (note: the following instructions assume you’ve already registered your domain through Dreamhost, and be aware that it can take up to 48 hours for the domain to propagate fully).
1. Login to your Dreamhost Account
Go to dreamhost.com, click “Panel” and then enter your login information.
2. Go to “Manage Domains”
Look in the left sidebar menu, and under the “Domains” drop-down menu option click “Manage Domains”.
3. Remove “Fully Hosted” Setting
Look under the “Web Hosting” column – if you see “Fully Hosted / user: you” you’ll need to click the “Delete” or “Remove” button to discontinue Dreamhost from hosting your domain.
Note: This won’t delete what’s in your domain’s directory in your Dreamhost account, which you can access through FTP.
4. Go To DNS Settings to Edit “A Records” & Point Your Domain
Look under your domain name, and click the “DNS” link, which takes you to a screen where you can edit DNS settings.
Scroll down to where you see “Add a custom DNS record to [your domain]” – leave the “Name” field blank, and set the “Type” to “A”. Then enter 220.127.116.11 (our IP address) in the ”Value” field (adding a “Comment” is optional). Click “Add Record Now!”.

Or go to the list of providers, if Dreamhost is not your Registrar.
You can contact Dreamhost support if you need assistance doing this.
